今日正式有國安惡法的大綱，縱然百般滋味，仍要奮勇向前。人微力弱，但仍能有所作為。身為香港人，我以此為榮。

有街坊告訴我怕與中共對抗，我跟他們說只要每人都能在各自位置努力，大家以堅實的信念去面對，互相支援，就像我們過去一年一樣，都會對大家有所幫助。

不是因為看見希望而堅持，而是因為堅持才能看見希望。縱然對手恐怖地強大，我們仍要互相扶持，迎難而上。

願榮光歸香港。

[Protecting Hong Kong with Everything We’ve Got]
The outline of the national security law was published today. Despite the complicated feelings that this has evoked, we must continue onward in our fight. We may be few in numbers, but we can still achieve great things, and I am so proud and honoured to be a Hongkonger.

My constituents told me that they are afraid to go against the Chinese Communist government, I told them that as long as we all do our best in our own capacities, be firm in our conviction and faith, and be willing to help each other, just as we have in the past year, it would still be helpful for Hong Kong.

We are not only persisting because we see hope, we see hope because we are persisting. Our opponent may be the scary Goliath, but we shall still march forth together arm in arm against the tide.
