中西區近日有多宗確診個案，有多棟大廈因「新增一宗或以上確診個案」或「污水樣本檢測呈陽性」需要作強制檢測，加上有若干人士需要作定期測試，樣本收集樽一直供不應求，故此本辦事處昨天向郵政局相關人士詢問有關唾液樣本收集樽（「樽仔」）供應情況。

相關人士指因應需求大增，已與衛生防護中心商討並為西區調配更多唾液樣本收集樽，現時每天於西營盤郵政局以及堅尼地城郵政局‼️均獲發350個「樽仔」讓市民免費領取‼️。而昨天截至下午12時半，西營盤郵政局仍然有小量唾液樣本收集樽作派發。本處職員亦幫手排隊領取了少量「樽仔」，如有街坊需要，可於辦公時間內領取（每人只限領取2個）。

注意：西營盤郵政局以及堅尼地城郵政局只派發「樽仔」，沒有收集服務。市民可到位於皇后大道西134號的西營盤賽馬會普通科門診或域多利道45號的堅尼地城賽馬會普通科門診交回樣本。

【Increased Supply of Specimen Collection Kits in Sai Ying Pun Post Office and Kennedy Town Post Office‼️】

As there has been a surge of new confirmed cases in the Central & Western District, many buildings were subjected to compulsory testing due to confirmed cases within the buildings or positive sewage samples. With others who are required to do the testing regularly, specimen collection kits are in shortage. Our office enquired with relevant personnel at the post office regarding the supply of the kits.

They stated that due to the immense demand for the kits, Hongkong Post has requested for more kits for the 2 post offices at the western district. Sai Ying Pun Post Office and Kennedy Town Post Office are currently providing 350 free specimen collection kits respectively every day. Up until 12:30 pm yesterday, there were still a few kits for citizens to pick up at Sai Ying Pun Post Office.Our office obtained a number of kits for those in need, citizens are welcome to reach our staff for the kits (2 kits for each person only).

Note that the western district post offices are only providing kits but not collecting. Citizens should drop off their specimen at Sai Ying Pun Jockey Club General Out- patient Clinic, G/F, 134 Queen’s Road West or Kennedy Town Jockey Club General Out-patient Clinic, 45 Victoria Road, Kennedy Town.
